1. Who you are dealing with

This site is owned and operated by Halden (haldencam.com). You can reach us by email at [email protected], 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

2. Who can buy

• You must be 18 or over to place an order.
• Our UK site delivers to addresses in the United Kingdom only.
• You must buy as a consumer, for your own use, and not for resale.

3. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, we send you an email to confirm we have received it. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if a price was shown wrongly, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we refund you in full.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). Delivery is free. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay.

We check our prices carefully. If we find a clear mistake in a price after you order, we will contact you before we send anything, and you can go ahead at the right price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Our checkout is processed by Whop, so the charge may show as Whop on your statement. The full amount is taken when you order. Our payment policy has the details.

6. Delivery

Delivery is free and fully tracked. Orders are processed within 1 to 2 working days and usually delivered in 5 to 9 working days. The goods are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us. Our delivery policy has the details.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you can reject them within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. After that, you can ask for a repair or a replacement. If that fails or is not possible, you can ask for a price reduction or a final right to reject the goods for a refund.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you can cancel your order within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. To cancel, email us. We refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you showing proof that you sent them back.

8. The 60-day money-back guarantee and the 2-year guarantee

On top of your statutory rights, you can return your order for a full refund within 60 days of delivery. You pay the return postage on a change of mind. We pay it if the item is faulty. Our refund policy explains how it works.

The dash cam and the rear camera carry a 2-year guarantee from delivery. If you added the Lifetime Warranty, they are covered against faults for as long as you own them. SD cards are covered for 1 year. Neither the guarantee nor the Lifetime Warranty covers accidental damage or theft.

These promises are given in addition to your statutory rights. They do not replace or reduce them.

9. Using the product

• The Halden Duo 4K is made for cars with a 12 V supply. Lorries and some vans run on 24 V and need a 24 V to 12 V converter. Using 24 V directly damages the camera.
• Use only the power leads that came in the box.
• Fit the camera where it does not block your view of the road, and set it up before you drive, never while driving.
• If you are not sure about wiring the hardwire kit into the fuse box, ask an auto electrician to fit it.
• You are responsible for how you use and share the footage you record.

10. Reviews and content you send us

If you send us a review, a photo or footage for us to show, you confirm it is yours and true to your experience. You let us show it on our site and in our marketing. We may decline to publish anything that is offensive, off topic or contains someone else’s personal details.

11. Our content

The text, photos, videos and design on this site belong to Halden or are used with permission. Please do not copy them without asking us first.

12. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.

A dash cam records what its cameras see. We cannot promise how an insurer or any other party will use or treat your footage.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on the site when you placed it.
